Steam Gameserver

Für die belustigung der minad.de Community ist gesorgt! Neben Open TTD und Trackmania laufen auch ein paar der Steam-Dedicated-Server. Zur Zeit eingerichtet/installiert ist:

  • Team Fortress 2
  • Day of Defeat: Source
  • Left 4 Dead 2

Zum Spielen auf den Servern wird der Steamclient und das entsprechende Spiel vorausgesetzt. “Team Fortress 2” ist dabei ein kostenloses Spiel, d.h für jeden Verfügbar. Je nach Reihenfolge in dem die Server gestartet werden, lauschen die Spiele auf verschiedenen Ports. Standardport ist 27015, auf dem meist der TF2 Server lauschen sollte. Die anderen Server finden sich dann jeweils einen Port darüber. Einfach den Server im Steam Server-Browser suchen und per Doppelklick verbinden.

Passwort

Das Passwort ist, falls nicht bekannt, im IRC zu bekommen ( irc://irc.moep.net/#minad ).

Für die Steam-Server gibt es einen eigenen Nutzer auf dem minad.de Server. Unter dem “tf2server” Nutzer-Homedir (/home/tf2server) liegen die Steam-Files. Die Server werden in einem Screen namens “hlds” gestartet.

Die möglichen Werte für “game” sind mit “./steam -command list” einsehbar

Die Source-Games können via rcon Administriert werden. Dafür benötigt man bei den Spielen die Entwicklerkonsole. Via “rcon_password penis123” kann man das Passwort (ebenfalls im #minad IRC erhältlich) eingeben. Die nützlichsten Befehle sind:

  • rcon changelevel map_name
  • rcon tf_bot_add

Die Source-Server haben eine zentrale Konfigurationsdatei in der die grundlegenden Einstellungen gemacht werden. Diese sieht so aus:
